"The Texas Hill Country's Best Kept Secret"
In November 2002 Dos Lagos Ranch began trophy white-tailed deer hunting for the first time. The ranch has been under high fence and intense white-tailed deer herd management since 1998 and is booking a limited number of hunts each year. Trophy white-tailed deer genetics (both does and bucks) were introduced to the ranch and the native white-tailed deer eliminated, thus insuring tremendous antler potential. Our breeder bucks came from sires scoring 170 to 210 B&C and the does are from big south Texas game ranches. Bloodline genetics from Paco, Primo, Sal, Cowboy, Thunder, Lightning, Full House, King and Longfellow (pictured above, 233 1/8 B&C) are the basis of the herd.
Our hunting ranch is located between Blanco and Fredericksburg, Texas in the Upper Blanco River Valley fourteen miles west of Blanco and one hour from San Antonio or Austin. Call or e-mail for more information and booking arrangements.
